Is Gegin Gefn Right For Your Group

Discover why this cottage is the one for your party or family reunion...

For Families
Gegin Gefn is not suitable for children as it accommodates only 2 guests in a mezzanine bedroom accessed by stairs. The property targets couples wanting a romantic retreat. The working farm setting and nearby beaches might appeal to families, but the one-bedroom layout and adult-focused interior make this unsuitable for family holidays with children.
Pet Friendly
Dogs are not allowed at Gegin Gefn. The property maintains a pet-free policy, making it unsuitable for guests wanting to bring their four-legged companions. The working farm setting and nearby coastal walks would otherwise provide excellent opportunities for dog walking, but alternative pet-friendly accommodation would be needed for holidays with pets in this area.

Gegin Gefn Reviews

Jack Kenneth
Lovely cottage and the Aga made it really warm and cosy. Good location for Barmouth and some beautiful beaches nearby.
Jan
Gegin -Gefn is a really lovely well equipped and toasty warm cottage. It comes with the most amazing views too. The weather was kind and enabled us to watch the sun setting whilst enjoying a glass of Prosecco to celebrate our 10 week wedding anniversary. It is a perfect location for visiting other parts of Wales too. We enjoyed road trips to Harlech, Porthmadog, Shell Island, and even Pwllheli (using the train, which is nearby). The owner emailed me a fabulous list of things to see, places to eat etc.
Kathryn
Lovely comfortable accommodation Spotless right from waking through the door the whole place was very welcoming. The bed was so comfortable and we felt right at home from the start. The owners were really nice and the welcome goodies were very much appreciated thank you. I had never used an aga before but it wasn't a problem. The view from the little private garden was so lovely we could see Snowdonia and Snowdon in the distance then out to sea. This is a working farm but it is so picturesque with the cows and calves and sheep the whole place is very clean and neat. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
John
Immaculately clean, beautifully appointed accommodation in a fabulous location. Watching the sunset across the bay is a very special experience. Highly recommended.
