Eileen
Fabulous little cottage, cute and quirky while at the same time giving you absolutely everything you need for your holiday. Wonderful host, nothing too much trouble. Great location for everything, shops, pubs, restaurants and even the beach. Will definitely return to this lovely cottage and will recommend to friends and family
Lovely, quaint cottage in a perfect location. So clean. Homely. Only minor and very minor TV remote evidently has a loose connection but we found a workaround. Would definitely return.
Robert
Lovely cottage for a few days away
Penelope
I really enjoyed my wek long stay. I'm a single traveller with a dog. I felt very safe and so did my dog. Quietly tucked away down a little passageway through two gates. But very central near the shops cafes and bars. This was my first visit to Barmouth and it didn't disappoint. Lots of places to entertain yourself. I was lucky with beautiful warm sunshine. The beaches are beautiful. So is the harbour. Great for people watching and chatting to friendly holiday makers. I instantly felt at home. The cottage was beautifully presented and I appreciated the hosts very kind gesture of a gluten free treat. She offered to make sure everything in the kitchen was spotless but I'm sure she does anyway I'd love to return one day A 5 star

Absolutely brilliant cottage. Perfect for two people to get away.
Glan Meon Cottage is a gem. The owner had decorated it for Christmas and left us chocolates round the tree. So kind. The place was warm as toast, comfy and welcoming. It is quirky and you do have to climb a ladder to bed. That wont suit everybody but if you are reasonably agile, its a good fun place to sleep. Plus, our terriers couldnt jump on the bed which was a bonus!
Absolutely beautiful. Lovely snug, very clean and welcoming and situated right in the heart of Barmouth near the beautiful beaches. Will definitely go back there again Clare & Karl
A really nice cottage, well presented with everything we needed to enjoy our week away, conveniently located in the middle of town, near to the local shops and eateries. Quiet position but only a few steps from the street, no seagull noise ! useful decked area to sit and relax on.. we look forward to returning next year..
Samuel
Superbly clean, fabulous facilities, wonderfully comfy. Perfect town centre position but perfectly calm and quiet with it. The welcome pack of goodies and the car park pass is a perfect illustration to the thought the owners have put in to ensure our stay was as good as it could be.
Rachael
We loved our stay, the cottage had everything we needed and in a great location. Thank you Jess you obviously put alot of thought into ensuring everyone has a great stay. Ps Harbour our fluffy cocker spaniel loved her stay too and loved watching the seagulls fly over out on the terrace.
Denise
We really loved the cottage! So cute and great use of space! The bed on a mezzanine was a bit hot though. Just one other thing, it's great that we could take our dog, but unfortunately their was a gate on the terrace with a big space at the bottom for him to get through! I think this needs to be addressed if the owner allows dogs. On the whole we loved staying in the cottage!
A great and comfortable cottage. Great location and really helpful to have the parking permit. A great touch in providing a welcome pack, welcome card and a pre paid post card. The only other feedback we would offer is that a toaster would be really handy. Other than that the cottage is a real gem. Thanks again Tess for a great stay at your beautiful cottage
Amazing break and so happy with the place it was so nice and clean and tidy. There was nothing missing from the place everything we needed was there we will defiantly be back
Stewart
Lovely place to stay. You won't find a more convenient location central but still peaceful. A nicely kept and clean property.
My wife and I plus our small dog had a lovely 3 night stay here. The location just off of the high street was perfectly situated for it to be quiet and private enough rest and relax, but still with quick and easy access to the town. The inside and outside is well thought out and after a days exploring, we enjoyed returning to the cottage to unwind and settle in for the evening. We would highly recommend and hope to return in the future.
Very lovely little cottage hidden away in the center of Barmouth, me and my boyfriend had a great time! Definitely will be coming back soon hopefully! Thank you for the lovely Welcoming Welsh cakes too my favourite.
Rachel
Had a fantastic week staying at Glan Meon with my husband. Cozy and comfortable bed, lovely reclining two seater sofa and an amazing shower. The kitchen was well stocked and the location was perfect, central to Barmouth yet nicely tucked away and quiet when sat out on the terrace apart from the seagulls ofcourse! and so well maintained inside. We will be recommending it to family and friends and will be booking it again should we return to Barmouth in the future
Simply a nice little place, ideal for two & a pooch. Great location & well presented. Kind to provide milk & a welcoming welsh cakes. Will recommend in future.
The only thing I can say is that the bed was slightly too firm for my liking but this is a superb accommodation. Everything you could need, built to a good standard and all the equipment is decent quality. The radio didnt work but we could use the tv or phones and the wifi was excellent. Its quiet and tucked away but also just off the high street so you have access to all that Barmouth has to offer easily. Im already planning my next stay.

So nearly booked another week Glan Meon cottage was just what I needed . In the town itself so no need for a car , I travelled by bus from home . The cottage is lovely ! Cosy and comfortable sofa and bed especially . Superclean and nice and quiet . I had forgotten to bring a face flannel provided ! A torchalso provided ! Nice to have a shower mat . A lovely welcome card from the owner , plus provisions to start my break . I liked all the information in the folder , plus guide books . The cottage is a credit to the owner , well thought out with a very high quality finish . I will definitely book again
Jonathan
Absolutely fantastic stay in a lovely little cottage no complaints at all! Great spot to start the Circular Walk from, close to beach and pubs, restaurants and shops. Thank you for the welcome card & welsh cakes!
A great find! Immaculately presented and very clean. We had a fantastic stay, very cosy, great location!
Lovely little cottage in the heart of Barmouth and a two minute walk to The Last Inn opposite the harbour. Definitely would stay again in the future.
This is a beautiful little cottage, that was spotlessly clean maybe the cleanest place we have ever stayed Obviously, it is not suitable for the elderly or disabled, but that is made very clear in the listing. It is in an ideal position in the town, but very quiet and relaxing. We loved it.
We found Glan Meon to be a lovely little property tucked away in the heart of Barmouth. We spent a week here couple plus dog, the space is very well thought out and equipped it had everything we needed and we had a lovely week. Despite being so centrally located, we found it to be very peaceful with no disturbance. We hope to return to see more of Barmouth and the surrounding area.
Amanda
Really quirky, well presented and well equipped cottage, with style and comfort. It's not for those who are not very mobile and we had fun accessing the bed, which was extremely comfortable. If you want town centre, this is this place, but you wouldn't know it as it felt, and was, very quiet. Access to the cottage was a little challenging but all part of the experience. The description and notes were very accurate. We had a lovely long weekend doing things we like to do walking, challenging climbs Cadar Idris!, watching nature, paddling, boat trips, eating and enjoying wonderful views.
The owners have used the space cleverly. It feels very spacious, although headroom is limited in the sleeping platform! The lighting and power points are fantastic. The outdoor space is just right. The location is perfect, very near the beach and restaurants, yet very quiet as it is set back. The parking permit was very welcome, as was the lovely card and goodies. The property was very clean too. We had a fantastic stay, helped by perfect weather.
Deanna
Beautiful place and very close to local pubs, restaurants and beach
Bridget
Glan Meon Cottage, although in the centre of Barmouth is exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed spending time there but also just being able to pop out and explore on foot very easily, be it for refreshments, shopping, fish and chips, the beach and the hills.
Dianne
Lovely quirky little cottage with nice little touches close to the beach shops train station and plenty iof walks on your doorstep. Would definately reccommend a stay there and hopefully will return in the future
Very cosy and compact cottage will definitely be returning
Rosemary
This cottage was really lovely, everything we needed to enjoy our stay, comfy bed and great entertainment through the freeview play tv. With weather being too hot for our pooch we had to stay in the last 2 days. The cottage is ideally located in the centre of town
Andrew
Fabulous location gorgeous little cottage. Immaculately clean and nice little touches e.g welsh cake milk in the fridge and x2 pre stamped postcards. Would definitely book again
Shelley
Another wonderful stay at Glan Meon cottage, spotlessly clean and all the extras ... Another wonderful stay at Glan Meon cottage, spotlessly clean and all the extras provided are brilliant, we will definitely be going back again, like home from home
Had a wonderful weekend in this immaculate and beautifully furnished, compact cottage. Hidden away off the high street, this ancient stone property has provided us with the perfect base to access beach, hills, shops, bars and restaurants. Sad to have left so soon.
Excellent little cottage and credit to the owners. We will visit again.
Fabulous cottage. Avery welcoming with lovely touches as the biscuits and postcards. Only downside was the temporary roadworks which caused a problem for loading up at the end of our stay. Would definitely return to and recommend this cottage.
