Beautiful and comfortable situated in an ideal location.
We had a wonderful 7 days here, would definitely recommend to anyone 2 minute ... We had a wonderful 7 days here, would definitely recommend to anyone 2 minute walk from a beach and Barmouth Bridge, short 10 minute downhill walk to the town centre Lovely location, beautiful views

We enjoyed our stay at Borthwen. It was close to access to the beach and only took 5 minutes to walk to the beach. The view was beautiful. The house was very nice and parking was great. I have a few ideas for the owners. Two keys would have been better than one. More cutlery would be good, especially tea spoons. Add the Freezer onto the items in the house online. Although it was generally clean in the house, i found a fly at the back of the fridge, and in the bedroom nearest the lounge, there was blood stains on the bottom sheet. The sheets looked clean, but the stains were old, this wasn't too good. I also had to clean the banister rail because it was sticky. I don't want these few comments to make you think we had a terrible time, far from it. They are just a few suggestions.
Perfect holiday home, very clean and comfortable, views from the lounge are amazing and just a short trip to the town, a lovely little pathway to a small beach is right opposite, great base for getting around will definitely stay again and recommend. Small issue with the keysafe really tricky to get into
Lauren
It was nice accommodation, a good location, good parking. I like baking so a few more cooking utensils and trays would have been nice. The dishwasher was handy but took many hours to finish. We made use of the puzzles. We would return in future.
Matthew
Perfect location to Barmouth, close enough to wander down into the town yet still feels peaceful. The little secret beach opposite the house is wonderful and you MUST do the panorama walk too, well worth it. Thank you so much!
Lovely place to stay. Everything you need for a self catering visit. Will stay again.

The property was lovely and clean and up to date. The beds were very comfortable and the shower and bathroom were brilliant. The weather all week was 18 degrees all week for October not a spot of rain. The SMART tv was brilliant. The beds were very comfy. Parking very good. No issues with road noise The Last Inn was a lovely pub and the myriddins tap for real ale lovers. Barmouth Bridge and the walk to Fairbourne and back about 46 miles flattish. The heating didnt seem to come on through the radiators but my partner was convinced it was underfloor heating as we were never cold. Great trip value for money will book again the week just flew by.
We had a wonderful stay. Facilities were perfect Just a short walk to town. Would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at Borthwen. The house felt like home straight away and was very clean and comfortable. Location brilliant for smaller beach and nice and close to town. Owner Dad Heath and son Jago were extremely responsive when I broke the key in the front door! One text, 20 mins later all was sorted. They were great. Would definitely recommend to al. Thank you
A brilliant stay at Borthwen, it's ideally situated for Barmouth 20mins a incline on way back. The local train to Harlech, Fairbourne & Tywyn meant we could leave the car. Borthwen is spacious & comfortable, great communication from Heath when we had a query. The panorama roadwalk is right next door. Barmouth has a wonderful beach & independent shops loved the bakery next to the mermaid fish shop. We ate out a couple of times at the barmouth hotel lovely meals good sized portions.

Cottage was lovely, clean and spacious would definitely recommend and stay again. Location fab, the only tiny thing I would like to mention is the lack of a rack for grill pan ,difficult when trying to cook bacon etc
Good spacious accommodation with parking at the side or in the garage. Comfortable beds, good kitchen but would need more china and glasses for a larger group, bathroom nice and clean. Well situated as only a few minutes walk into Barmouth, and close to the bridge over to Fairbourne. Quite a lot of traffic noise at busy times, and cars turning on the frontage, which is a shame. Lovely walks from the property over the hills at the back of Barmouth, and across the bridge, wonderful views. We only used our car once, and it was nice to know it was securely parked.
Sharon
Superb holiday home with lots of space and gorgeous view from the living room. Our second visit and we will be back again soon.
Lovely stay at Borthwen. The accommodation itself was very clean and spacious and we all thought the bedsmattresses were fantastic. The location of the accommodation is just brilliant, with shops and beach just a short stroll away. Barmouth is a lovely dog friendly town. There are plenty of scenic walks from the door step and a plethora of pubs and cafes to choose from, for refreshments. We would definitely return to Barmouth and wouldn't hesitate in booking this properly again.
Trevor

Excellent clean place with brilliant views. Would recommend to all.
Ian Richard
A beautiful property in a perfect setting. The accommodation was perfect. Extremely comfortable and spacious. Barmouth itself is a fantastic place. Fanny Talbot and The Bank are 2 amazing restaurants and the Last Inn is a friendly welcoming pub within 5 minutes walk of the property.
Perfect location to visit Barmouth and area and good to have parking. Very clean, spacious and comfortable property with everything we needed. Lovely views and short walk into town. We really enjoyed our stay but have a few suggestions to add An informationwelcome pack would be helpful for new visitors eg local map, how to use equipment in property. A small heater in downstairs toilet would be an advantage on cold days.
