Haulfryn Reviews

Our family spent a week in Haulfryn in Barmouth and loved every second of it! With 9 adults and 5 children, we were a large group and used all parts of the house. The communication with the hosts was excellent. They helped us with all of our pretrip questions, and then assisted us to answer a couple of queries we had whilst in the property. We would not hesitate to recommend Haulfryn for a family holiday, the location and property itself are fantastic!!

The house at Haulfryn is stunning. It has been renovated to the very highest standards. Our family visited for the Christmas period. We had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and special. We were able to cook for 13 people and had lots of space. The house is very clean and beautifully presented and was even decorated for Christmas. All of the king and super king beds are amazing and very comfortable. Some of the singles and bunks are not so comfortable for adults but absolutely fine for the kids. We didn't want for anything. We loved the setting, the views, the walks and the local pub. We visited the beach and saw the sunset each evening. We would absolutely love to return sometime in the future. It really was just perfect!
We had such a lovely stay Sam and Sarah were absolutely incredible hosts, making sure we had everything we needed, and so kind to offer recommendations for local restaurants and coffee shops. I will 100 be coming back here, what a lovely location and such beautiful interior decor.

We had an amazing time at Haulfryn. All the information provided was fantastic and correct and helped us very much. All of our queries were replied to promptly. Any correspondence made was professional and friendly. We felt very much at ease and the house itself felt like home. We would highly recommend Haulfryn. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay at Haulfryn and make lovely memories with our family.
We had a great time at Haulfryn, it was the perfect base for a multigenerational holiday to celebrate a 2nd and 84th birthday. The house is spacious, clean and beautifully presented, with an amazing kitchen for hosting big groups. Its very kidfriendly, with a well stocked play room. The rooms are comfortable and bright with amazing views of the sea. We didnt get to spend much time in the garden thanks to the delightful British weather, but the house was perfect to hide out in during the rain, with multiple social spaces and lots of jigsaws to enjoy. It was close enough to the beach to enjoy the views and the sound of the ocean, but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The hosts are friendly, attentive and respond quickly to any questions. We would love to come back!

This was a beautiful property that we would highly recommend. The views from the property were fantastic, it was nice to enjoy a morning coffee looking out to sea. As a family of 11 we were able to enjoy the garden, children's play room and family meals in the kitchendiner. The property has a very calming feel to it.
The property was very comfortable and spacious. All rooms were very nice with excellent decor and fantastic views. It was very well equipped. The outside area was accessible but didnt flow easily from house to garden.
We had a fabulous time at this stunning property. Ideally situated within walking distance to Barmouth. The views were just beautiful. The house was immaculate and decorated to the highest standard. We absolutely loved it and didnt want to leave. Beautiful place.

It was a lovely house in a lovely location overlooking the town and beach. We had a wonderful week despite the weather and would recommend this house to others.
Lesley
Amazing family weekend. Plenty of space for all 13 of us, beds super comfy, plenty of kitchen equipment and storage. The pool table provided great fun for us all. Barmouth is a lovely family holiday resort and we were so lucky with beautiful weather.
What a beautiful property just by the sea! All of the guests had a wonderful time and would all recommend! Appreciated the little gift that was left for us and how clean and comfortable the stay was!

This place is amazing with a great view. The rooms were very spacious. They have all the amenities. We loved the mini snooker table through out. The owner of the property Sarah & Sam were very friendly and helpful through out. The agent handling the property wasn't very responsive which was an oversight due to help from Sarah & Sam.
Haulfryn is a fantastic holiday house for a large family gathering 8 adults, 7 children, 3 generations. It's comfortable, spacious and very wellequipped. The location is stunning with sea in front and mountains behind. Even with mixed weather we found plenty of activities with trips to Portmeirion, Penmaenpool, Dolgellau, and Fairbourne by ferry and little train. The kids loved it all!
Beautiful property, clean, well equipped, good quality furnishings, amazing views. Constant hot water. Well positioned to explore the area. 20 mins to Coed y brenin bike centre and 40 mins from zip world. Family of 14 stayed 7 children enjoyed our stay so much going to book again for next year. Highly recommend.
This was a fantastic stay, would highly recommend it. Perfect location and the house is very well presented and looked after. Will be booking again.
