Bryn Hyfryd Reviews

Charles
Beautiful location but you sacrifice close amenities like pub or shop which we knew when researching before booking. Just have to drive everywhere which wasnâ??t a issue for us. Loved the waterfall walk right on doorstep that takes you into mountains. 10 min drive to Barmouth from house. We just used the house as sleep base but property did have a wii and dvdâ??s. Property does have FTTP internet. We would return to this property. Overall a good property and stay.
Columba
Great views from front, really well equipped kitchen, games & tons of dvds.
Emma
This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. The family were comfortable and had a super time. Thank you.
Jo
A great house and fantastic location. We spent a week here with our three grown up children and grandchild. Itâ??s maybe in need of a little TLC, but we didnâ??t mind and felt relaxed and at home. The wood burner was great and there were lots of games and dvds to keep us occupied. Not that we needed them as we spent as much time as we could out and about in the breathtaking scenery.
Marie
Lovely house in an excellent location, had everything we needed and particularly loved the childrenâ??s room
Joanne
Lovely place to stay, plenty of room and well equipped. Thank you for the welcome pack, much appreciated. Lots of games and toys for kiddies if needed and dvds for adults. Had a really lovely week there.
Lina
Lovely holiday home with beautiful view. Plenty for the kids to find in the house to keep them entertained.
Rhian
Thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely property which has amazing views of the mawddach trail. The only negative I would say about this property is the road up to the house is very steep and the parking from road to drive is very tight. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone with mobility issues.
Steve
We have stayed in a lot of cottages/airbnbs/vrbos and we loved this property. The lounge is cosy and has a wood burning stove which is lovely for the cold evenings (You can buy bags of logs from the petrol station on the main road outside Dolgellau for for £4.25) The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedrooms have very comfortable matresses. The property is located half way between Dolgellau and Barmouth but it doesn't feel out of the way. The view from the front of the property is absolutely stunning and the inside has some great artwork. We were a party of 4 adults and 3 year old and would definitely rent this property again.
Mhairi
The house is beautiful with lovely decor and in a fantastic location. Some maintenance is required within and provision of better seating outside front would be beneficial to be able to look at the beautiful views.
Chris
A striking property in an elevated position overlooking the estuary and next door to the dramatic ruins of Bontddu Hall. The property is incredibly well equipped although this can make it seem a little cluttered. The crockery in particular is of high quality and supplied in copious amounts. The property is warm and clean whilst the main areas (dining room, lounge, bedrooms) are comfortable. Parking is strictly limited to one car. The location is excellent being a short, scenic yet easy drive to local attractions and towns.
