Harbour View - Flat 2 - Tudor House Reviews

Stephen
Beautiful apartment, clean, modern, tasteful and comfortable. Breath taking harbour view from large bay window and two very well appointed chairsfootstools to enjoy this for hours! Very communicative and helpful host who responded immediately. Fire escape stairs to enterexit were a challenge with heavy bags so recommend you travel light this is made clear in the description before you book. Would probably remove Sky TV and replace TV with a modern Smart TV much cheaper and less hassle for the host too. This would enable customers to login in to whichever services Netflix, Prime,ITVX etc that have access to at home. Working with a Sky planner and recording programmes into a planner was a blast from the past! You dont really use this apartment for TV when you have that view of course, but at night a Smart TV with all the usual Apps would have been welcomed. Sadly I would not book through Sykes again as they took far too long to respond and even then it was far from seamless.

We had a lovely break in Barmouth, made all the better by this beautiful apartment! The view is incredible, so good that we didnt care it rained for the majority of our stay as who cares if theyre rained in when they have a view like that?! The apartment itself was really nicely decorated and immaculate. It was well equipped and has everything you could require. The communication before and during the stay was excellent. We look forward to returning
Elaine
Fantastic location for a weekend break over New Year in Barmouth. Beautiful views and very well furnished.
Darren
Amazing location, the view over the estuary is addictive. The weather did not behave but what a property to be stuck in as we relaxed without feeling guilty. After spending a week...we immediately wanted to stay another. Thank you Jo!!
This is my second visit to this property. It is a fantastic apartment with the most amazing views. It is comfortable and well equipped. The location on the harbour is perfect for access to all the facilities of Barmouth, shops cafs and restaurants, with the beach just across the road.
Sylvia
Very clean and comfortable. Amazing view. Excellent location. Close to amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again.
Lovely accommodation, beautiful views. We struggled to find it at first as it is actually called 2 Tudor house on the stairs, not harbour view as stated and also the alleyway is at the side of Teds and not the Anchor inn as also stated in the directions. We had a wonderful stay, very relaxing and beautiful surroundings.
Louise
Wonderful place to stay, the flat was beautiful. With all the comforts of home from comfortable beds to all the kitchen amenities. The view is spectacular from the front windows and the binoculars came in very handy. The only downside was my little dog wouldn't walk up and down the fire escape stairs, so having to carry him, but it didn't ruin our stay.
Alison
Absolutely beautiful! ! The view has to be the best in Barmouth it takes your breath away when you walk in. The flat is immaculate and has everything you need and more. All the rooms are lovely and its spotless. We spent hours just looking out of the window !! Theres so much going on and the view changes all the time its stunning. We would definitely recommend and cant wait to return.
Our second time at Harbour View better than home from home because of the big bay window, overseeing the estuary, Barmouth bridge, passing trains, and of course the harbour. Didnt put the tele on once! Its a good climb up the external metal stairway to this second floor haven, which fortunately isnt a problem to us. Lovely clean, high quality facilities, and a very comfortable bed. Thats all we need. Hope to be back soon.
Wow! What a fabulous apartment, which is very comfortable, well equipped, and close to all the local amenities. Ideally situated for beach walks and exploring Barmouth and the surrounding areas. Access is via a metal fire escape to the rear, but appreciate that this cannot be helped, and gives the most wonderful harbour views from the property. Highly recommend this as a place to stay if access isnt an issue.
This is the second time we have stayed at this beautifully appartment, which is situated at the harbour front, and has timeless panoramic views. It is very comfortable with all that is needed for your stay. Will without question book it again.
Louise
The apartment was so cosy and welcoming we loved it! We spent so much time in front of that incredible view of the harbour by the living room window! The host was super helpful when we had questions... such a fantastic stay!
Christine
The flat was beautiful with an amazing view! ! The only negative is the access would be helpful if the alleybin area was better lit
Fantastic stay in this lovely apartment, superb views and such a great location without the need to use the car once parked up. Kitchenette was well stocked with everything you could need and the apartment was super clean when we arrived.
Catherine
We had a great stay in Barmouth and this flat was in a great location for everything the town has to offer. The best thing about the accommodation was the fantastic view across the estuary. Would definitely return!
Great stay, great location. We had a lovely holiday.
Perfect apartment with a beautiful view and easy access to all Barmouth has to offer. Loved it. Rich and Chris

Perfect apartment with a beautiful view and easy access to all Barmouth has to offer. Loved it. Rich and Chris
The property has one of the best views in Barmouth looking over the harbour to Barmouth bridge and Cadair Idris. The flat is warm, comfortable and well equipped, with modern kitchen appliances, modern bathroom, and a very comfortable bed. Access is the only negative factor. It's through a back alleyway and up two flights of exterior steps. Luggage transfer wasn't simple! Once inside the flat, it's another world. It was a great base for a week's walking and I'd certainly choose to revisit.
Had a lovely weeks stay. To sit in window and admire the view of harbour was perfect..Flat was very homely and comfortable. Loved the walks with dog. Will defo return.
Really enjoyed our stay the view from the living room window was all we could have asked for. The flat had all we needed and tastefully decorated. Will return again.
This property was spotless, tastefully decorated and very cosy. Binoculars are provided to further enhance sitting in the window enjoying the view. We felt able to relax and enjoy Barmouth.
Just back from a week in harbour view. What can I say? If you like a view look no further. Its the best view weve ever had. Very nice apartment with everything you need. Very handy for a dog friendly beach, the town and some wonderful walks. We love this area but first time in Barmouth. As previously mentioned the entrance is round the back and up the fire escape which would be a challenge if you have mobility issues perhaps. Once you open the door and spy that view its like another world.
Absolutely fantastic views! I sat on the window at every opportunity watching the changing tides and weather. We stayed for Christmas and the apartment was clean and lovely decorated. The living room is comfortable as are the beds. The communication was excellent from the owner. I would recommend if your taking a dog that you check they will walk up metal fire escape stairs, ours wouldnt so had to be carried up them all
So grateful to have stayed at this hidden harbour view gem. You would never believe how perfect the accommodation is from the approach which is via a narrow back alley, behind a row of shops and accessed by a metal fire escape but please dont let this put you off. As soon as you open the front door you can see how clean and tastefully decorated it is. The kitchen seems brand new and contains everything you might need. The main attraction is the view such a cliche with this accommodation but youll spend most of your time sitting in the bay window looking at the water, the hills, wildlife, boats etc etc etc. The sun rises right in front of you, from behind the hills such a privilege to see every clear morning. Must also mention the owner who is proactive, friendly and easy to contact. We had a wonderful time and would love to return one day.
Caroline
The view was absolutely amazing. We could just sit in the window and watch the world go by. Communication with our host was excellent throughout our stay. Flat was in a top location.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay the apartment & facilities were perfect ... Absolutely beautiful place to stay the apartment & facilities were perfect everything you needed was there for you, comfy bed, bathroomshower kitchen appliancesutensils, dining area, comfy sofas well furnished & the view over the harbour & bridge stunning weve already booked to come back thank you Jo & also for getting the electrician out promptly when the outside light for the steps played up well impressed
This must be the best location in Barmouth! ! Despite the instructions we could not get the hob or cooker to operate. We didn't use the washer because there was no airer to dry the clothes. Apart from that the accommodation was fine.
We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment. It has been finished to a very high standard and had everything we needed. The finishing touches such as artwork and throws were exceptional. The view is really special and we spent many hours watching the boats coming and going. Excellent communication with owner just to confirm a couple of details. Thanks for a great holiday.
Fantastic holiday location , the view from the window of the harbour and Barmouth railway bridge is like you only find in films. The flat is clean and well equipped, parking nearby with the beach just over the road for those early morning and evening walks with the stunning mountains for a back drop. Cafe's ,pubs and eateries all within a stone's throw. The only care point is the access to the flat is via stairs at the rear of the building.
We had a lovely stay here the pictures of the property were as shown. It was lovely to sit in the window and people watch, watch people on boats and see the classes of paddle boarding. The flat is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We did have a problem with the tv and phoned the lady up within 20 mins someone was with us to sort it out cant get better service than that. A great relaxing stay. Thank you
A lovely flat in a superb location. The view is amazing and it is ideally situated for quick access to the beach shops pubs and restaurants.
Very comfortable, attractive and very well converted with excellent use of space and the focus being on the spectacular view. Particularly impressed by the art around the apartment be that paintings or ceramics. It felt like a special place to stay
Amanda
We had a lovely weekend in Harbour View. The apartment is right in the centre of Barmouth with stunning views of the sea. The apartment is very comfortable and appointed to a high standard. The owner was very helpful recommending places to eat and returning a necklace to us that we thought was lost. We would definitely return in the future.
