Emerald Suite Reviews

The noise from the above had us awake at 0645 every day. You can hear every footstep. Their washing machine was on at that time some days and one day late in the evening. Towels totally insufficient for a weeks stay. One roll of toilet paper which was so poor quality it was unusable. Pans in the kitchen were filthy, though otherwise it was clean. There was a complimentary bottle of wine, but only one wine glass. Location is great. We knew the road would be noisy, especially as there are temporary traffic lights literally outside the front door, so we were fine with that. Car windscreen was broken in the car park.

Lovely clean comfortable apartment in a great area, central to the town, harbour and the sea, would definitely book again.
This is the second time we've stayed in the Emerald Suite and once again we were very happy with it it's comfortable and very wellsituated, with views of the Quay from the front window! The only very small note I would give is that we had some issues with the fridgefreezer some lamb steaks we placed in the fridge ended up partially frozen, and some ice cream we put in the freezer compartment was halfmelted when we took it out. This appliance might need looking at, but that's a minor issue. Other than that, another lovely stay and we'd recommend the place to anyone.

Great location, and a comfortable retreat after the many activities, from mountain biking at Coed y Brenin, walking up and down Cadir Idris, cycling over the bridge and along the estuary to Dolgellau and back, and exploring in the hills directly behind the property. A lovely living area, with a great view while eating breakfast. Nice and warm for a mid October break in the changeable weather of stunning Wales.

Our 4th return visit says it all. Minor maintenance points 1 kitchenette lower window panel ajar, not sececurable noticed with strong Westerly winds, 2 weak toilet flush. Else all good.
Apartment had everything I needed and was beautifully clean. It was a spacious apartment with great views and a massive bed!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the Emerald Suite and it was very central to all the local facilities. We very much appreciated the inclusion of the car park pass and that alone would encourage us to stay in the property again. It was also a lovely touch that the owner left a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits, both were appreciated. The only negatives were that we both enjoy reading and me my needlework in the evenings but the lights in the lounge were not conclusive to either very well. A reading spotlight would be a good addition. We were also concerned that there was no mattress protector and that the pillows were badly stained. We would certainly recommend the property to other people as it was a lovely place to stay.

Beautifully kept apartment and everything needed for a good holiday. No problems whatsoever and a lovely week had. Having the parking permit was a bonus as no parking outside and not a long way away from local car parks. hope to be back in the future!
Everything was clean and worked as it should. Could do with more light in the front room for reading etc.
This is our 3rd stay in Emerald which speaks for itself. This time we had the bonus of blue skies and sunshine for 6 of 7 days. We're now poised to re book for the Barmouth Walks fest next September.

We had a great time I contacted the owner to check that there would not be any air freshener in the apartment because of my allergic asthma. The reply I got was so caring and lovely and the apartment was clean and fresh but not overly scented.

This was our second stay in Emerald. Will return. Need I say more? The note in the kitchen re dish washer is confusing. There isn't one ?. The mattress needs a turn top to bottom.

Amazing, would absolutely recommend. So central, clean and modern, with everything you need, and a lovely gesture re the wine Several guests had mentioned the very loose toilet seat sadly that had still not been fixed when we arrived.

A lovely clean apartment on the main street leading to the harbour side can get a little noisy with traffic during the day if you have the windows open but we were out exploring so it didn't bother us. Lovely views from the sash windows of the mountains and great for watching the clouds roll in from them. Perfect location for exploring Barmouth and nearby coastal walks. The parking pass was very welcome as was the welcome pack of milk etc, would have been nice to maybe have some salt and pepper included too. Would very much recommend this property

Yes we had a lovely stay at the Emerald suite right near the beach,shops and Amenities. The apartment was smartclean and spacious it had everything you needed the only thing I would say was the fridge freezer was alittle on the small side. Fantastic apartment, clean central location comfortable. Even though on mane road you dont really hear any traffic etc. Complimentary bag is a warm welcome. I may have overlooked that this is advertised, but there is a washing machine, iron and hairdryer within the apartment. We will be looking at booking again for new year. We have been holidaying in Barmouth for years, and this apartment is our favourite

The apartment was excellent, everything you need in a kitchen, disappointed that we had to make our own bed which we have never had to do before, thought that would have been done for us. A lot of mentions with regards to a welcome bag, ours contained 3 dish washer tablets, 1 hot chocolate sachet, 3 portions of milk, 7 sugars and 2 coffee sachets, it seems this was made up of what was left from other apartments, as for dish washer tablets we did not have a dish washer in our apartments. These comments do not have any reflections upon this 1st class apartment, well decorated, well located and great view of the harbour . Great sitting at table looking through window watching the world go by. Would certainly recommend. The holiday property is well located in the Barmouth coastalestuary which is perfect for exploring NorthCentral Wales by car and public transport. The flat itself is clean comfortable and well equipped with recent equipment e.g TV, fridge, microwave, oven, shower etc.. The only negative would be the Front door key safe which was very difficult to pull open despite having entered the correct number. Yet the key safe for the Emerald flat door opened easily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and willwould stay in the same flat again if in the area.

Very tastefully decorated and clean property situated right in the heart of Barmouth. Everything you might need included for a comfortable stay, and even though it was very busy managed to get a parking space , the parking permit was a very welcome addition. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and hopefully will return.

Emerald Suite has been done out very well with everything you need in a smallish space. The door entry system does need looking at though as it doesn't always work. The apartment is near everything and a short stroll to the beach with a view of the harbour. Lovely place to stay.
Lovely apartment, good location in the centre of Barmouth. Can be quite noisy due to location of bins in the side ally. Gorgeous beach 2mins away. Would recommend the Tilman Bar just over the road and the fish and chips shop few doors down. Parking is in the main car park, about 5mins walk. You can usually unload outside before parking up.
