Lovely bungalow with everything you need and beautifully maintained . The garden is lovely too and there is a riverside walk close by . Great location and easy walk to the local beach . We would definitely visit again its a great place for a family holiday .
We have been to this cottage numerous times it never seems to amaze me. The bungalow is a credit to the owner always spotless and you do not want for a thing. Sykes were problem free and easy to deal with. Thank you to both parties. We will return as soon as possible
Sylvia
A beautiful spacious bungalow set in lovely gardens which were totally private. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathroom had a large bathtub with shower over. Having a Woodburner, with the logs provided, was a bonus for the colder evenings. This is probably one of the nicest cottages that we have ever stayed in.
Rebecca
A lovely stay for my birthday week. I love this property, absolute perfect location for walks, local pub and dining out in the area. The property is clean and very comfortable. Welcome pack is an added bonus. Whatever the weather rain or shine it is perfect.
Sharon
Comfortable, well equipped bunglow. As there were only two of us with our two dogs we found it very spacious. Very well located for exploring the wider area, but there are also lovely dog walks from the door. Would stay again if we were in the area.

We had a great week at the cottage the Grandkids love it happy to book a return visit There was one issues with the neighbour that kept putting there rubbish in your bins and in the wrong bins which we had to sort out to get our rubbish in But we had a lovely time thank you for letting us stay
Michaela
Our stay a 8 Glan Ysgethin was delightful. It made an excellent base for our holiday. We did lots of exploring and walking around the area. The accommodation was of good standard and comfortable, especially the conservatory where we spend most of the time. A big thank you to the owner, who provided us with all the general amenities to complete our most enjoyable holiday.
Rebecca
Great stay, perfect location, always enjoyable and comfortable, lovely welcome pack, very much appreciated.
Second time for us staying at this bungalow. We have people with autism in our family and the property is spacious, light and private. It suits us down to the ground. The rear garden is secluded and so peaceful, lovely to hear the river behind it. My son loves the large conservatory where he can stretch out in peace. It gives him his space. The bungalow has everything you need for a lovely holiday. All you need is food and with the Ysgethin Inn just behind meals are catered for too. The driveway is steep as the owners readily inform you however once parked up its a very short walk to the bus stop or better still the brilliant train station where the journey up or down the coast has views second to none. All in all a lovely base to enjoy this gorgeous area.
Lovely property very comfortable absolutely everything you need . Perfect to go to so many places and very quiet. Will be booking again
Had a wonderful time, fantastic location, would definitely book again!
Fifth visit to this beautiful cottage. Well maintained and spotless. Sykes should be proud of this property. We love it and so does our dog Sabi. Well done to all involved
Rebecca
Always a pleasure spending a week here, never had a problem, lovely enclosed garden, everything well maintained, looking forward to my next visit JulyAugust.
We loved the property internally, the added bonus of the conservatory was fantastic, we never used the living room as it was the Summer months, we spent our entire time in the conservatory. The only let down for us was the garden... it was in dire need of some major trimming on all the bushes. The access route down to the lower garden lawn area, was partially blocked by the shrubs catching your legs on the way downup the steps, the only other route was over the small bridge over the pond, for which there was a sign stating do not use. The upper patio area had bushes obscuring the sun and there were surrounding trees around the property which prevented much of the afternoon sun, we appreciate these trees were not on the owners property, but the bushes and hedges on the owners property were in much need of trimming. It was also advertised as having a BBQ, which had a tree growing into it! If this had been lit, it would have set the tree on fire! The patio furniture was also in need of a good scrub. Sorry, but if it states it has a BBQ, it should be usable. Great walks along the river through the woods at the back though.

Single beds need new mattress or topper
This is my fourth visit to this cottages and it is still brilliant everything that you want. We are the wrong side of 80 with an active dog all three of love 8 Glan Yesgethin. It has everything we want and more cant wait to get back. Always very clean and very well maintained. I would recommend this cottage anybody. The nearby pub is also great.

Lovely little property in a fantastic location. Spent valentines weekend here and was ideal place to have a nice chilled weekend with family. Owner was able to accommodate an extra night at very short notice with absolutely no fuss at all would absolutely recommend this property and will no doubt return again!
Rebecca
Lovely peaceful stay, lovely walks all around. Accommodation has everything needed for a lovely stay and very comfortable
Sheila
We really enjoyed our stay at 8 Glan Ysgethin. The bungalow was really nice and clean and in a great location for the woods and Beach . The only negative was the smaller double bed mattress and the single bed mattresses were not very comfy and could do with replacing as you could feel the springs . The other double bed in larger room was very comfy . We would happily book this bungalow again if the mattresses were replaced . The welcome pack was nice and the dogs enjoyed the treats ,Thank you
Gianni
An excellent property, very clean, close to amenities
Another excellent stay
Lovely property but it could be made clearer that there are quite a few steps in the garden and into the conservatory. The second toilet in the conservatory was helpful.
Like a home from home lovely property in an ideal location. So comfortable with everything included. We have booked again for November
Absolutely loved our stay. Despite dodgy weather the bungalow had everything we could possibly need to be comfortable and to enjoy our stay. Great welcome pack too. The garden and conservatory are a delight. So peaceful with the sounds of the river. Weve stayed in Talybont many times and truthfully we feel this is the nicest, and most suitable to our needs,we have autistic people in our familyproperty we have stayed in. We would, without a doubt, book again. Thank you.
The cottage was very nice and very well equipped the drive and the garden were very steep but overall we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend a holiday here . The welcome pack was also very nice
Rebecca
Our second stay here, this year! Lovely property close to Ysgethin Pub and River, great walks and the beach close by, comfortable property and well maintained, everything you need for a pleasant, relaxing stay.
This is a really pleasant property on a quiet road in the village. The facilities inside are spacious and comfortable. The garden is well kept and relaxing. The only negative point is the really steep driveway which is shared with another holiday let. It is also quite narrow, which creates an issue when there are cars parked on the shared driveway. I would recommend this very pleasant property.
Excellent stay beautiful bungalow everything thought of by the host. Choice of beaches first class.and the welcome pack especially the milk was a blessing.will be booking again very soon . 1010 .
Charlotte
Fantastic break away! The house was really well situated and provided us with everything we needed. Very well equipped and lots of space! When we encounter an issue not property related the owners were so helpful and responsive! Lovely garden and the conservatory was a brilliant communal space. We would definitely recommend this house!
Michaela
We had a wonderful break. The holiday home was as described.

Gianni
