1 Crud Y Mor Reviews

Fabulous home with everything you could possibly need. Parking space an added bonus. 200 yards from the beach and 10 minute walk to town centre.
Beautiful, clean perfect place to stay. The house had everything you could need plus more! The games and books were a great addition for our daughter to enjoy. The rooms were immaculately decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Would definitely stay again.
Michael
The accommodation was excellent, everything we needed for our stay had been provided. Nice comfortable beds plenty of towels, it was clean and well decorated throughout. The property is in a very quiet part of Barmouth but very close to the sea front and lovely beach. We would highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

A wonderful property in Barmouth with great facilities. We didn't want for anything in the property. We came prepared for the worst of the potential weather rain, wind and the area didn't disappoint. Although we arrived by car the only time we used it was parkrun Dolgellau because Barmouth was cancelled beach motor cross. Barmouth has a beautiful beach superb for long walks. Public transport train & bus making getting around very easy despite the extended periods between services. Activities completed walking across Barmouth bridge to Dolgellau a long walk but worth it, Fairbourne, Tallylyn & Festiniog Railways, Harlech castle & Portmeirion. Plenty of good eateries in Barmouth to suit all budgets, the pubs offer a good range of entertainment and very much recommended for beer lovers Myrddins. I'd recommend updating the access instructions to along Marine Gardens then left at the junction with Cae Roger next to the BT building as it took us a while to locate the property as the postcode suggests MinYMor Hotel otherwise
Rachael
This is a lovely and comfortable property in a very convenient location. The only suggestion we would make are some directions to help people find the property. We have been coming to Barmouth for 20 years so managed to find it but for those who don't know the town it wouldn't be easy to find at all! The parking space was a real bonus for us having always stayed on the rock before now. We also particularly enjoyed having some outside space.

We came back this year after staying last year and being very happy with all aspects of the house! Lovely stay, and we will hopefully be back next year!
Matthew
The cottage was fabulous, but it needs more wine glasses and also some champagne flutes, then it would be equipped fully. Also I think the directions need tweeking, not enough info to get you there at ease !! We will definitely be back, location was ideal, decor superb and very comfy beds
Beautiful home exactly as shown on pictures Ild rate it 5 plus
We had a lovely stay in your beautiful house. There's everything you need and more for a very clean, warm and comfy stay. The photos are exactly as the house is inside, immaculate. The kitchen cupboards are filled with everything you need. All very shiny and new. It was so nice to come back to a lovely welcoming house after a days site seeing. We all enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend. Thank You
Stephen
The best value for money house we have rented, good layout, facilities and everything you could want readily available. Things like quality of towels, crockery and cutlery far better than expected I have stayed in 5 star hotels where the towels were not as good. The immediate position behind the hotel was ok but the general area was goodideal for the Barmouth amenities. Will return next year the first rental we have stayed in that we will return to we stay in rented houses at least twice a year The good points far out weigh the two things that could be better Shower was temperamental and could not adjust the downstairs thermostat probably due to my limited knowledge.
Lovely views of sea and mountains. Warm, clean and comfortable. Big fluffy towels, easy parking, near to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend.
For the second time we rented this beautiful house we our teenage grandchildren and once again we had a fantastic holiday. It was a stress stay because there is everything you need for a holiday home and more . 5 mins from the beach 10 mins the shops and town . Fantastic views from the window plenty of lovely walks nearby.Thank you to owners 1010

We had a lovely stay, there are nice views of the sea out of the upstairs bedroom and it is right next to a park and a pub. The house was really clean, well presented and had everything we needed to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We will definitely be coming back!
The property was immaculate and it was very well equipped. The beds were very comfy and there were plenty of towels which was lovely. Our children really liked all the box games and books which was a nice touch. The location was great, it was really easy to walk to the beach with the kids and also within walking distance of town and eateries. I would highly recommend and we hope to return one day.
This is an amazing holiday house. Really comfortable with gorgeous fixtures and fittings, well equipped kitchen with so many extra touches. The bedrooms are just lovely with the fluffiest towels and plenty of them for each person. Great storage space and lots of coat hangers. Nothing has been scrimped on. The host, Ian was great with his communication on our prearrival queries. The house is mere steps from the beach so would be excellent if you are travelling with children. Really loved our stay and we found three excellent restaurants in Barmouth if you dont want to cook. The Fanny Talbot, Bistro Bermo and The Bank.
Lovely stay in Barmouth. The house was beautiful and a great location.
Excellent location well equipped very comfortable it was like home from home would definitely recommend and will return

From the moment we walked in we loved it. What a fabulous holiday home, it truly felt like home. Everything you could possibly need..or want..had been thought about and provided. It was immaculately clean and it was warm when we arrived right in the middle of storm Ciaren!! Hopefully you will have guests who take care of the beautiful place you have created. We will be back!
Amazing place, amazing house. Clean, warm cosy and comfort.
Wow Wow and Wow. I don't think I can put into word how luxurious this house is. There is nothing more you could ever want from holiday accommodation. The owners are are a text away should you need to ask them anything and so warm and friendly. My partner and I took my teenage grandchildren aged 16 and 17 who both were very impressed. If you drive and don't know the area we went to the Nantcol Waterfalls it was breathtaking I am 67 and the hike to the top was manageable for me. We the hundred steps the views were special. We went to Coed Y Brenin Forest Park and hired bikes. There are waterfalls there too we sat and had a snack and the birds were eating out of our hands. We also forest walk near Dolgellau. There is so much more to see and we are in love with the place and we will definitely be going back to 1 Crud Y Mor next year. As you can probably tell I am not brilliant with words but you get the gist of it
Some holiday properties you are ok leaving, some you are sad to leave and some you never want to leave this property is most definitely the latter! Absolutely perfect property in immaculate condition, a pleasure to stay in. Quality furniture, fixtures and fittings. Really comfortable beds and fluffy white towels! Sea views from 2 of them. A host who really wants you to have the best holiday. Available by text with a prompt response should you have any questions. Lots of lovely little touches round the house, plenty of books and games to borrow. On top of all that, the location is amazing! 2 mins walk to the most stunning sandy beach that stretches for miles, all backed by mountains and scenery to take your breath away. Our first time in Barmouth and we were really impressed, being able to walk to everything from the house was such a bonus. Do not hesitate to book this property, you will not regret it!

1 Crud Y Mor is a beautiful house, in a beautiful location. Everything felt brand new, with luxurious decor and fittings and a lovely sunny garden with comfy patio furniture. Everything and more you could possibly need has been thought about by the owners. A welcoming touch was the selection of teascoffee and Welsh Cakes left for us. There is also a spacious level car parking space to the front of the house which was ideal. A 2 minute walk takes you past the Min Y Mor Hotel and onto the beach, and a short walk along the promenade takes you into the town where there are plenty of shops and places to eat, a mini fairground and even donkey rides available on the beach. A little further on, there is the picturesque harbour with bars and restaurants looking over the boats and bridge crossing the estuary. Barmouth is a beautiful seaside town and our holiday was made all the more special because we stayed here. You will not be disappointed if you book this beautiful house and we look forward to visiting again
Absolutely loved our stay here during the May half term so close to the beach, shops and other local amenities. The house was perfect, such lovely standard and everything had been thought of. Our two little ones absoloutely loved it, especially the books and games and garden area too. We will definitely be booking to return

This was one of the best vacations we have had as a family. The stay at 1 Crud Y Mor was terrific, with everything provided and more. The walk to the beach is 2 minutes and the beach is magnificient. The house decor is superbly done, and the views into the hills from the first and 2nd floors are beautiful. Ian has been a wonderful host and has been contactable for any queries etc. We are coming back here definitely. Cheerio Neel
